Features and operating principles:
These locks constitute a security element intended to be mounted on hatches of railway equipment, hoods of sports cars, etc. and to prohibit the untensional open.
Other uses with the same level of security are possible.
The 2-step open function visually allows the user to check if the system is properly locked.
On composite locks it is possible to add a lock reinforcing security.
Opening one-time version:
– A pressure on the rocker releases the handle which, under the action of a spring allows the total disengagement of the bolt with respect to the striker (maximum rotation of the handle).
Opening two-stroke version:
– A pressure on the rocker releases the handle which, under the action of a return spring, rotates to a position of release of the handle without significant displacement of the bolt.
– The introduction of the hand into the space thus cleared allows, given the friction, total disengagement of the bolt relative to the strike (maximum rotation of the handle).
At closing:
– The manual folding of the handle to the face of the door allows the engagement of its locking device (the conical shape with rounded end of the bolt facilitates its entry into the keeper).
